Naptown Factions Server Rules

Welcome to Naptown Factions, a Minecraft server dedicated to providing a unique and engaging gaming experience. To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all players, we have established the following server rules. Please read and understand these rules before playing on our server.

General Rules

  1. Respect Other Players: Treat others with respect and kindness. No harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior will be tolerated.
  2. No Cheating: Cheating, hacking, or using unauthorized mods to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
  3. No Exploiting: Exploiting game mechanics or bugs to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
  4. No Spamming: Spamming, including excessive messaging, advertising, or self-promotion, is not permitted.
  5. No Inappropriate Language: Using profanity, vulgar language, or racist/sexist slurs is not tolerated.
  6. No Advertising: Advertising other servers, websites, or products without permission from the server administration is prohibited.

Chat Rules

  1. Keep it Family-Friendly: All chat must be family-friendly and suitable for players of all ages.
  2. No Harassment: Harassing or bullying other players through chat is not allowed.
  3. No Spamming: Spamming, including excessive messaging or self-promotion, is not permitted.
  4. Use English: English is the primary language of our server. Please use English in all chat channels.
  5. No Caps Lock: Avoid using all caps lock, as it can be seen as shouting and may be considered spamming.

In-Game Rules

  1. Respect Other Players' Builds: Do not destroy or alter other players' builds without permission.
  2. No Stealing: Stealing from other players, including taking items from their chests or inventories, is not allowed.
  3. No Luring: Luring other players into traps or danger zones is not allowed.
  4. No Server Griefing: Attempting to access or manipulate the server's console, files, or settings is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Using exploits to gain unauthorized access to the server's console or files.
  • Attempting to crash or lag the server.
  • Interfering with the server's performance or functionality.
  • Accessing or modifying server configuration files or settings without permission.
  1. Faction Wars and Raids: Factions are allowed to engage in wars and raids, but must follow our faction rules and guidelines.

Faction Rules

  1. Faction Creation: Factions can be created by players, but must follow our faction guidelines.
  2. Faction Membership: Players can join factions, but must follow the faction's rules and guidelines.
  3. Faction Territory: Factions are responsible for protecting their own territory and respecting the territory of other factions.
  4. Faction Wars and Raids: Factions are allowed to engage in wars and raids, but must follow our server rules and guidelines.

Staff Rules

  1. Respect Staff: Treat our staff with respect and kindness. They are here to help and maintain the server.
  2. Follow Staff Instructions: Follow instructions and guidance from our staff, as they are responsible for maintaining the server and ensuring a safe environment.
  3. No Arguing with Staff: Arguing with staff about their decisions or actions is not permitted.

Punishments

Violating our server rules may result in the following punishments:

  1. Warning: A warning will be given to the player for a minor infraction.
  2. Temp Ban: A temporary ban will be given to the player for a moderate infraction.
  3. Perm Ban: A permanent ban will be given to the player for a severe infraction.
  4. Mute: A player may be muted for a period of time for excessive spamming or harassment.

Appeals

If you feel you have been unfairly punished, you can appeal to our staff. Please provide evidence and a clear explanation of why you believe the punishment was unfair.

Changes to Rules

We reserve the right to modify or update our server rules at any time without notice. Changes to these rules will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately. By continuing to play on our server after changes are made, you agree to be bound by the updated rules.
